Join a workspace with a code

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

If your administrator gives you a six-character code, you can join their workspace. You can do this from Profile at any time, even if you already belong to another workspace.

Get the code (administrator)

The code is on the workspace's own page: Profile → View … details. It refreshes every 10 seconds and shows a countdown, so send it straight away. See Workspaces explained.

Join (the person joining)

Tap Profile, then Join using a code, and type the code.

On this screen
- Heading – Enter Join Code: Enter the 6-digit code shared by your admin to join the workspace immediately.
- Six boxes – one for each character. Letters and numbers both work (the code is hidden in this picture).
- Join Workspace – the blue button below the boxes.
Tap Join Workspace. A message confirms that the request was sent.
Request pending
On this screen
- Message, bottom right – Request Pending: Join request sent for . Waiting for approval.
- You are not in the workspace yet. An administrator has to approve you first.

Approve the request (administrator)

The administrator opens Approvals and taps the Join Requests tab. A number on the tab shows how many are waiting.

- Tabs – Posts and Join Requests, the second with a count (1).
- The request – the person's name and Joined via invite code, with how long ago it came in (1m ago).
- Reject – declines the request.
- Approve – the green button; lets the person in.
Tap Approve. The request disappears from the list.
No pending requests
On this screen
- Empty state – No pending join requests. New requests will appear here.
- The person is now a member of the workspace.

After you are approved

The new workspace is in your list under Profile → Switch Workspace.
Two workspaces
On this screen
- Heading – Switch Workspace with a count of 2.
- New workspace – listed with your role, Member, and its size.
- Blue bar – on the workspace you are in right now.
Open it. You land on that workspace's Home page as a Member.
A Member's Home page
On this screen
- Headline – Let's build together, with the new workspace's name.
- Sidebar – Home, Chat, Resources, Certification, Tasks, Connects, Drive, Meetings, Analytics and Milestone.
- Not shown – Contracts, Approvals and Directory, which a Member's role does not include.
- Bell – with a red dot when you have notifications.
