How to join with a code when you sign up

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

If your administrator gave you a six-character code, you can use it while you sign up. You join without waiting for an administrator to approve you.

To get a code (administrator): open Profile → View … details. The code refreshes every 10 seconds and shows a countdown, so send it straight away. See Workspaces explained.

Fill in the sign-up form. On the How would you like to get started? screen, choose Join with Code.

- Join with Code – Use your 6-character invite code to join an existing workspace.
- Continue – turns blue once you have chosen.
Type the six characters of the code. You can also tap Paste code.

- Heading – Join a workspace: Join with a code, with Enter the 6-character invite code your workspace admin shared with you.
- Invite code – six boxes, one per character (hidden in this picture). Letters and numbers both work.
- Paste code – pastes a code you copied.
- Join workspace – the blue button.
- Help line – Can't find your code? Ask your workspace admin to resend the invite.
- Previous – goes back.
Tap Join workspace. A last check asks you to confirm.

- Cancel and Join workspace – the two buttons.
Verify your email with the code SecureID sends. See Verify your email.

- Subject – Verify your SecureID email address, from SecureID.
- The code – six digits in a grey box (hidden here).
When the email is verified, the setup is complete. You are in.
You're all set

- Message – You've joined Guide Demo Co. Sign in to start collaborating with your team.
- Workspace row – its name and a green Active label.
- Signed in as – your name, with a Member label.
- Back to sign in – tap it, then sign in. See How to sign in.
Sign in. You land on the workspace's Home page as a Member.

- Sidebar – Home, Chat, Resources, Certification, Tasks, Connects, Drive, Meetings, Analytics and Milestone.
- Not shown – Contracts, Approvals and Directory, which a Member's role does not include.

Search or code: which is quicker?

With a code you are in as soon as you verify your email. There is no waiting for approval.
With a search an administrator must approve first. See How to search for a workspace.
