Switch, create or join a workspace

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

Everything about workspaces lives under Profile in the left sidebar, in the section headed Workspace.

Switch to another workspace

Tap Profile, then Switch Workspace.

- Workspace section – four entries: View … details, Switch Workspace, Create Workspace and Join using a code.
- List – every workspace you belong to, with your role and its size (here Owner · 2 members). The number next to the heading (1) is how many workspaces you are in.
- Blue bar on the right – marks the workspace you are in now.
- Choose a workspace in the list to move into it. The whole app then shows that workspace's content.
When you belong to more than one workspace, each has its own row.
Two workspaces
On this screen
- Heading – Switch Workspace with a count of 2.
- Each row – the workspace's name and your role there: Member · 2 members in one, Owner · 2 members in the other. Your role is not the same everywhere.
- Blue bar – on the workspace you are in now (the first row here).
- Tap the other row to move into it.

Create a new workspace

Tap Create Workspace. A six-step form opens.

- Step bar – Basic Info, Contact, Branding, Details, Roles and Review. You are on step 1.
- Workspace Logo – a round picture you can upload.
- Organization Name – required, up to 100 characters. The red This field is required appears until you fill it in.
- Tagline – optional, up to 150 characters.
- Industry – required; choose from the list.
- Company Size and Founded Year – optional.
- Description – required, further down.
- Next – stays pale until the required fields are complete.

Join a workspace with a code

Tap Join using a code and enter the 6-digit code your administrator gave you.

- Heading – Enter Join Code: Enter the 6-digit code shared by your admin to join the workspace immediately.
- Six boxes – one for each digit of the code.
- Join Workspace – stays grey until all six boxes are filled in.
- Codes are short-lived, so ask your admin for a fresh one if yours does not work. Administrators find the code under View … details; see Workspaces explained.
