I can't find someone to chat with

What you see: the person you want is missing from New chat, or the list says No contacts yet.

Why: people appear in the list once they have turned on messaging. Someone who has never opened Chat and accepted the Welcome window is not a contact yet.

What to do 1. Ask them to open Chat and tap Accept & Continue. See Turn on Chat. 2. Try the other chips at the top of the list: Network, All workspaces and Global. My workspace only shows people in your own workspace. 3. Use the search icon at the top right of the list.
