How to make a call

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

You can call someone from their chat. A voice call and a video call button sit at the top of the conversation.

Open a chat and tap the phone icon at the top right.
Calling
On this screen
- Round call screen – a black circle over the conversation with the person's picture and name (Guide Tester) and the word Calling…
- Red button – hangs up.
- Rings – grey circles spread out while it rings.
If nobody answers, or you hang up, the call is recorded in the conversation.
A call in the conversation
On this screen
- Call card – Voice call, how long it lasted (0 sec) and the time.
- Chat list – the row reads Outgoing voice call.
Open the Calls tab for your history.

- Search calls… – at the top.
- History – each call shows the person, the day and time (Today, 11:59 AM) and an arrow showing it was outgoing.
- Phone icon – calls that person again.
- Blue call button – starts a new call.
The other person sees a missed call in their chat.

- Red card – Missed voice call, with Tap to call back and the time.
- Chat list – the row reads Missed voice call in red.

Good to know

Video call is the camera icon next to the phone. This guide did not test it.
I tested calling a person who was offline, so I did not see a call being answered.
