How to send a broadcast

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

A broadcast sends one message to many people at once. Each person gets it as a normal private message, and they cannot see who else received it.

Open the Broadcast tab, then tap the blue + button.
New broadcast
On this screen
- Heading – New broadcast, with a back arrow and a search icon.
- Add participants – the people you can include, with the usual chips: My workspace, Network, All workspaces and Global.
- Each person – a name and an email. Tap to choose.
Choose the people, tap the blue arrow, and give the broadcast a name.
Name the broadcast
On this screen
- Name – up to 200 characters (18/200), with an emoji button.
- Recipients – the people you chose (1 recipients).
- Blue tick – creates the broadcast.
The broadcast appears in the list.

- Search broadcasts… – at the top.
- Your broadcast – a megaphone picture, the name (Team Announcements) and the recipients.
- Blue + button – makes another one.
Open it. It starts empty.

- Header – the broadcast's name and its recipients, with ⋮ and ×.
- Notice – Messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted.
- Box – type your message as in any chat.
Type a message and send it.
A broadcast sent
On this screen
- Your message – in blue, with the time and a tick.
- List – shows the message under the broadcast's name.
The other person receives it as an ordinary message in your chat with them.
What the recipient sees
On this screen
- Message – Reminder: all-hands at 10am tomorrow. appears in their chat with you.
- No list – nothing shows who else received it.
