Chat settings: status and privacy

Who can use thisMembers and Super Admins

The Settings tab holds your status and a few chat preferences.

Tap Settings in the bottom tabs.

On this screen
- You – your picture and name, with your status (Available) and a Set Status Message link.
- Notifications – two switches: Mute Group Messages and Mute Private Messages.
- Privacy – two switches, Status and Read Receipt, both on here.
- Blocked Contacts – opens the list of people you blocked.
- Change Background – opens a choice of chat backgrounds.

Not tested: I did not change any of these settings, so this guide does not say what each switch does beyond its name.
