Permission you need

Edit resources

Set by your workspace admin. If you cannot do this, ask them for access.

Articles keep a version history. When you edit a published article, your changes are a draft until you publish them, so readers keep seeing the current version.

Open the article and tap the clock icon. Version History opens on the right.

- Version list – each version has a number (v1), a title and Original Publish, the date and who published it.
- View – reads that version.
- Compare – shows what changed between versions.
- Restore – brings an older version back.
- × – closes the panel.
Tap the pencil to edit. The editor tells you this is a draft.

- Orange notice – Published Version: v1. You are editing a draft. Changes are not visible to users until published.
- Save Draft – keeps your changes without publishing them.
- Publish – makes the changes the new version.
After you save a draft, the article looks the same to readers.

- Readers still see v1 – this view shows the published text, without the draft's extra line.
- A draft is kept apart from the published version, so readers are not affected until you publish.

Version history is for your own articles. Seeing other people's article history needs a separate permission. See What you can do in Resources.
