Frequently asked questions
What can I put in the library?
Documents, images, videos and audio, written articles, playlists of videos and podcasts of audio episodes. See The Resources library at a glance.
Do I need a category first?
Yes. Everything lives in a category. Categories can sit inside each other, up to five levels deep.
Can I upload from Drive?
Yes. In the upload panel, choose From Media Drive instead of From this device.
What file types can a playlist or a podcast take?
A playlist takes videos (MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, WEBM). A podcast takes audio.
Who can see what I publish?
That depends on the category's visibility: Public (everyone in the workspace) or Private (chosen roles and partners). New items inherit it. See Who can see a category.
What is a draft?
Something you saved without publishing it. It shows an orange Draft badge. See Publish, unpublish and manage content.
What happens when I edit a published article?
Your changes are a draft until you publish them. Readers keep seeing the published version. See Article versions and drafts.
Does search look inside articles?
Yes. A search finds articles whose text contains the word, not only their titles. See Search the library.
What is Network Resources?
What your partner organisations choose to share with you. It fills in by itself once a partnership is accepted. See Network Resources.
