How to build a playlist

Add resources

Set by your workspace admin. If you cannot do this, ask them for access.

A playlist is an ordered set of videos that people watch one after another. Use it for a course, an onboarding series or a product tour.

Tap + New → New Playlist. The New Playlist panel opens.

- Note under the heading – You can upload videos into this playlist once it's created.
- Title – required, up to 100 characters.
- Description – optional.
- Cover image – optional.
- Visibility – Public or Private, and the Published switch, as for a category.
- Create – purple; stays pale until there is a title.

- Description – Videos every new teammate should watch in their first week.

Add a cover picture. It shows as a thumbnail with its file name.

- Cover thumbnail – with the file name (Welcome_Cover.jpg), Change and Remove.
- Visibility and Published – unchanged.
Tap Create. The playlist is added to the library home.

- Playlists – a new section under the categories.
- Playlist card – the cover picture, the title and no videos · 0m until you add some.
Open the playlist. It starts empty.

- PLAYLIST label, title and author – with 0 videos.
- Play and shuffle – pale until there is a video.
- Empty message – This playlist is empty. Upload your first video to get the playlist started.
- ↑ Video – at the top right, to upload a video.
Tap Video and choose a video from your device.

- Videos only – the picker accepts MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV and WEBM.
- Note – Uploading into this playlist. Visibility is inherited from the playlist.
- Title, Description – fill them in, then Publish.
Repeat for each video. The playlist lists them in order.

- Header – 2 videos, with Play (all in order) and shuffle now active.
- Numbered list – each video has a thumbnail, its length in the corner (11s, 15s), a title and the author.
- ⋮ – each video's own menu.
