How to select several items

Permission you need

View files and folders

Set by your workspace admin. If you cannot do this, ask them for access.

Select several items to act on them together: share, download, move, copy, favourite, zip or delete.

Press and hold one file or folder until it is ticked. This switches Drive into selection mode.
Tap more items to add them. Tap a selected item again to remove it.

- Bar at the top – 3 selected on the left, with Share, Download, a ⋮ menu and × on the right.
- Tick boxes appear in the corner of every card; selected cards also get a blue outline.
- Share and Download act on all selected items at once.
- × leaves selection mode and clears the ticks.
Tap the ⋮ in the top bar for more actions.

- Move and Copy – send the selected items to another folder.
- Add to favourite – star them all.
- Zip – pack the selection into one zip file.
- Move to Trash – in red at the bottom; you can restore them from Trash.
